Soken Molly Gang have started their 2007-8 winter season programme. Come and catch them if you can. See the programme below.
The name Soken Molly Gang comes from the area of North East Essex that includes Thorpe-le-Soken, Kirby-le-Soken and Walton-on-the-Naze which used to be known as Walton-le-Soken.

"LUNGE AND GRAPPLE!".
The Molly version of a Polka.

For the past six years the Soken Molly Gang has developed its own entertaining form of dance. We have adapted dances from our friends in other sides. Special thanks go to Good Easter and Ouse Washes. We have kept the rustic simplicity of the Cambridgeshire dances and given them a NE Essex twist. We are adding our own dances as we go. Our outings are developing into all round entertainment thanks to the singing skill of some of the gang, the Royal Marine Shanty Crew and other sundry singers. Come and see us when you can. A smile is guaranteed.

A promenade at the Kirby Riot.
On or near 8th December each year we remember
the protestors who were transported to Tasmania
