This page will develop as my own unoffical site to promote the area known as the COMMON LANDS. These are meadows granted to the Freemen of Sudbury in 1262. The Freemen's Trust now administers the area for the benefit of the town and to ensure that this rare piece of grazing ground remains unspoilt and a site of great beauty for future generations.
